motivated by the physical aspect of creation and the process-oriented nature of print making, i challenge what a print is, or could be. this often manifests in the form of artists books, the occasional 11”x11” condom wrapper, and shrines to dolly parton. for the duration of my career i have been exploring topics such as gender performance/femininity, suburbia and domesticity, relationships, and the importance of language. the kitschy undertones deeply embedded in my practice speak directly to the experience of a twenty-something making work in the internet age.
